Meet John

Candidate for Southlake Mayor

• John and his beautiful wife Elizabeth have lived here in Southlake since 2008

• They have three kiddos - Caroline, age 14; Andrew, age 12; and Anna, age 10

• John is a small business owner in town; he and Elizabeth own and operate Black Door Renovation, one of the most successful home renovation companies in NE Tarrant County

• John has served on City Council since 2015. Before that, he was chair of the Zoning Board of Adjustment. His other volunteer activities include coaching in Dragon Youth Baseball, volunteering at First Baptist Grapevine, and supporting various civic organizations like the Chamber of Commerce, House of Shine, and GRACE

• John has served in every level of government, including being appointed by the Governor the State of Texas to serve on the state licensing board for psychologists
